The winner of the dramatic St Louis Marathon 1904 was the American Thomas Hicks
He wasn't the first who crossede the Finnish Line, but Fred Lorz, was droppede out of the Race, and was trasportede in a car
Nowadays would Thomas have been disckvalificided too. He collapsed, but two from his staff gave him some Stryknin and Brandy, so he could come through. His time was 3.28.53 and the Distance were 40 Kilometers
