First in Chicago Marathon 2002 where she improved Naoko Takahashi's WR at 2:19:46 to 2:17:18
The year after did she improve it in London Marathon to phantastic 2:15:25
That made her to favorite to the the Worldchampionship, and she did win in new CR at 2:20:57 ahead of the defending Champion Catherine Ndereba 2:22:01
Constantina Tomescu Rumania was 3rd in 2:23:19.
