She did win in the time 2:26:01 only 4 seconds ahead of the Japanese Reiko Tosa The Russian Svetlana Zakharova did win the bronzemedal in 2:26:18 In Sydney 2000 did she win the Silvermedal in 2:23:22 only beaten by the Japanese Naoko Takahshi
She also won the Osaka Marathon 3 times in a row from 1998-2000
